Boomerang Logistics works with our customers to safely and economically transport their products around the world using our Intermodal Transportation solution, which offers cost and tonnage advantages.

Intermodal transportation is defined as the service of transporting products with a single load and within the same transportation unit using more than one mode of transportation without causing any damage to the products. The transportation of a container or trailer by road, rail, or sea without it ever being opened is known as intermodal transportation. Products that were closed during loading are unlocked at the delivery location. Because there is no product, transportation of an empty container or empty trailer is not considered intermodal.

While providing Intermodal Transportation services to our customers, Boomerang Logistics employs other modes of transportation such as road vehicles, freight or Ro-Ro ships, airplanes, and trains.
